brand backstage
Boy do we love a style guide! Don’t know what that is? A style guide is essentially a brand kit that tells designers & outside viewers the “rules” of their brand. This includes colors, logos & usage, typography, and other varying elements of importance, like specific copy language and images.
You might be thinking ”how can a style guide be so exciting? Isn’t it essentially the equivalent of a designer’s instruction manual?” While that might be somewhat true, think of it as an instruction manual that was designed with visuals at the forefront. One can get super creative with the way it is laid out (like the one for Audience Rewards here) and it establishes organization on how designers use the brand moving forward. And do I love organizing.
Brand Backstage was created with style guides and general brand organization in mind. It is a place where companies—new or established—can gain a better understanding of their brand. Off Broadway production finding that your marketing materials are inconsistent? Building a website and don’t know what colors and fonts to use? Have no idea if you have the correct logo files for outside vendors? Let The Studio help you create that style guide, establish your visuals & get off on the right foot.
Still confused? Reach out and I’d be more than happy to talk branding and style guides with you all day long (and if you’re feeling extra ambitious, BrandingStyleGuides.com is where you can geek out on company brand kits galore, like I do).
